If you’re buying the VND for video, I’d recommend using a camera app with manual controls. The stock iPhone camera keeps compensating for the changing light, so at first I thought the filter wasn’t working. Once I locked my settings, I could actually control the exposure with the VND.

I mainly bought the kit for the CPL, but the star filter is surprisingly fun. You need actual point light sources in the frame for the effect to show up. Tried it with street lights at night and immediately got the little cross-star effect. Looks really cool for night videos.

Cannot use with the any Iphone that has the 3 cameras. How can i return this product?

This seemed like a good idea but it doesn’t work with my iPhone 15 because it doesn’t align with the lenses. It’s not worth the effort of trying for a refund. Disappointed.

Giving it 4 stars because it wasn’t as plug-and-play as I expected. I had to watch the setup video and learn how to rotate the CPL properly. The effect is much better on my main camera than the ultra-wide. Once set up correctly though, it does what I bought it for.
